Responsibilities
- Own complex native mobile features and projects from concept through delivery.
- Design and implement Android software, algorithms, architectures, shared components, and APIs.
- Lead code reviews, establish quality standards, mentor junior engineers, and facilitate technical discussions and learning sessions.
- Address technical debt through refactoring, system improvements, and maintainability initiatives.
- Monitor and maintain production services, resolve critical issues, and participate in on-call duties.
- Improve CI/CD, testing, deployment practices, development processes, and team tooling.
- Collaborate with Product and cross-functional stakeholders to refine requirements and align solutions with business goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience focused on native mobile development.
- Advanced proficiency in native Android development using Kotlin.
- Experience independently designing and implementing complex algorithms and architectures.
- Hands-on experience managing and improving CI/CD processes using tools such as GitHub Actions.
- Experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Ability to mentor peers, lead technical discussions, and collaborate across teams and departments.
