Base Salary
$156k - $320k/yr
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the strategic technical direction of cross-platform design-system libraries.
- Design scalable technical solutions and maintain design and UX vision through code, architecture, and data.
- Evolve design standards, guidelines, and reusable components within the design system.
- Develop mobile-native user interfaces and ensure high performance, reliability, and quality.
- Create, develop, and distribute high-fidelity AI-assisted prototypes for product alignment and user testing.
- Build tooling that helps designers and engineers use AI capabilities in their workflows.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, management, business partners, and subject matter experts.
- Mentor team members and participate in design reviews, code reviews, team processes, and decision-making.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a design technologist, engineer, or UX engineer.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- Proven ability to deliver highly reliable technical solutions that scale.
- Deep experience with mobile-native UI development using Android SDK, Kotlin, UIKit, and Swift.
- Experience developing or leading design-system initiatives.
- Experience breaking down complex challenges into smaller decisions and evaluating trade-offs.
- Track record of delivering large cross-functional projects across multiple organizations.
- Experience championing developer experience, performance, and quality.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
- Basic awareness of accessibility principles and commitment to continued learning.
- Ability to use AI to improve speed and quality in day-to-day work.
- Experience applying human-in-the-loop practices, including evaluation, verification, testing, source-checking, data validation, and peer review.
