Responsibilities
- Architect and implement Go-based services for high request throughput.
- Define and enforce engineering standards and API versioning strategies.
- Drive code quality through reviews and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams on backend alignment.
- Contribute to on-call rotations and drive reliability improvements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of production experience with Go.
- Strong experience in API and microservices architecture.
- Deep SQL expertise with PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Familiarity with non-relational stores like Redis and ClickHouse.
- Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging systems.
- Hands-on experience with observability tools like Prometheus or Grafana.
- 1+ years of production experience with Rust is a plus.
- Familiarity with prediction markets or trading platforms is a plus.
- Experience with blockchain or Web3 systems is a plus.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced startup environment is a plus.
