Base Salary
$150k - $166k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain high-performance distributed, event-driven services, cloud infrastructure, and modern frontend interfaces.
- Define, decompose, and lead delivery of complex technical projects and subsystems across the stack.
- Integrate AI models, data pipelines, and telemetry systems to automate workflows.
- Write automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and participate in rigorous code and design reviews.
- Own services and applications across their lifecycle and produce architecture diagrams, runbooks, technical documentation, and specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, resolve systemic bottlenecks, and mentor peers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience developing comprehensive, well-tested, high-performance applications with TypeScript, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS.
- At least 5 years of experience with React and Node.js.
- At least 3 years of experience using AWS or other cloud technologies.
- Track record of technical leadership with cross-team impact.
- Understanding of software development and architecture best practices and evolving AI technologies.
- Strong design sensibility, attention to detail, critical thinking, communication, and commitment to operational excellence.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Preferred experience with backend programming in Java, Golang, or Python.
- Preferred familiarity with Kafka, event-driven systems, gRPC, Thrift, and other server-to-server communication protocols.
