Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and operate cloud-native infrastructure services for Truveta’s healthcare data platform.
- Build and maintain Kubernetes-based platform capabilities using Kubernetes, Conductor, Istio, Kong, and related cloud-native technologies.
- Support infrastructure and platform services running on Microsoft Azure.
- Develop automation, tooling, and operational improvements that increase engineering productivity and platform reliability.
- Implement observability practices including logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, alerting, and service health monitoring.
- Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and production issue resolution.
- Collaborate with product engineers, security teams, architects, and senior engineers.
- Write maintainable code and configuration and contribute documentation, runbooks, deployment guidance, and operational best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of software engineering, infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud engineering experience.
- Experience developing, maintaining, or operating cloud-based infrastructure or platform services.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native application deployment.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or strong interest in building infrastructure on Azure.
- Understanding of automation, infrastructure as code, monitoring, operational best practices, networking, security, identity, access control, and distributed systems.
- Preferred experience with Azure infrastructure and services; Kubernetes, Istio, Kong, Conductor, or similar platform technologies; and production infrastructure or on-call support.
- Preferred experience developing automation or tooling with C#, .NET, Go, Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages.
- Preferred experience with deployment automation, GitOps, CI/CD systems, observability practices, open-source projects, healthcare or data platforms, analytics platforms, or regulated environments.
