Responsibilities
- Design and develop a mobile automation framework from scratch for native iOS and Android applications.
- Develop and maintain backend API automation and extend test coverage across web and API layers.
- Automate critical social trading scenarios, including trade copying, deposits and withdrawals, and trading account operations.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with execution on every commit, reporting, and pre-commit quality gates.
- Execute tests on real devices, emulators, simulators, and cloud device farms.
- Establish automation and stabilization processes to prevent test coverage degradation.
Requirements
- Experience building mobile automation frameworks from scratch for iOS and Android.
- Hands-on experience with XCUITest, Espresso, UiAutomator2, Appium, Android Studio, ADB, emulators, Xcode, Simulator, real devices, and cloud device farms such as BrowserStack.
- Strong Java skills and understanding of object-oriented programming; Kotlin and Swift knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with JUnit 5, Instancio or JavaFaker, Playwright for Java, Page Object Model, REST Assured, REST API authorization, and flaky-test retry strategies.
- Experience validating database state using MariaDB or MySQL with SQL/JDBC, and managing test data setup and cleanup.
- Experience with Gradle, GitLab CI or Jenkins, Git hooks, husky, pre-commit, Allure, and Jira.
- Knowledge of mobile architecture, locator strategies, gestures, network-condition testing, and repository-based mobile test maintenance.
- Fintech, trading, or payment product experience, Testcontainers, AI testing tools, and App Store or Google Play guideline familiarity are preferred.
