Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Java-based applications and services supporting the MineStar ecosystem.
- Deliver features end-to-end, including refinement, estimation, implementation, testing, and release.
- Contribute to solution design, technical decisions, design artifacts, code reviews, and engineering standards.
- Produce clean, maintainable, well-tested code with quality, security, and resilience built in.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Quality Engineering to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Monitor production services, troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement lasting fixes.
- Communicate technical progress, risks, and dependencies while owning assigned outcomes.
- Mentor engineers through pairing, coaching, and knowledge sharing, and contribute to hiring and capability development.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of relevant commercial software development experience.
- Commercial experience implementing distributed architectures, modern database technologies, web applications on cloud infrastructure, build and dependency management tools, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Python.
- Experience with modern security principles and technologies.
- Strong analytical, design, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage personal time and priorities effectively.
- Willingness to learn, pursue continuous improvement, and exchange feedback with colleagues and leaders.
