Responsibilities
- Design and operate secure, scalable, highly available, and production-grade Azure cloud platforms.
- Lead end-to-end DevOps practices, including infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, CI/CD, automation, observability, and cloud governance.
- Design and secure Azure network architectures using Hub-and-Spoke topologies, Virtual Networks, Private Link, Application Gateway, and Azure Firewall.
- Build and manage Kubernetes and container platforms, including AKS and Azure Container Apps.
- Develop infrastructure and automation tooling using Terraform, Bicep/ARM, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, Go, and Bash.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Implement identity, access management, enterprise governance, logging, metrics, alerting, and cloud security controls.
- Administer Windows and Linux cloud virtual machines, including networking, storage, backups, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Design and manage databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL.
- Handle incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, clients, and other stakeholders to deliver compliant and cost-optimized systems.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of hands-on experience in DevOps roles.
- Strong production experience with Microsoft Azure and working knowledge of AWS or GCP.
- Deep hands-on experience designing and managing Terraform-based infrastructure provisioning.
- Expertise in Azure networking, including Hub-and-Spoke, Azure Virtual Networks, Private Link, Application Gateway, and Azure Firewall.
- Experience with cloud-native infrastructure as code and configuration management tools such as Bicep/ARM and Ansible.
- Hands-on experience with AKS; experience with Azure Container Apps is required or relevant, while EKS, GKE, and ECS exposure is a plus.
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Strong scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, Go, or Bash for automation, API integration, and custom tooling.
- Experience with serverless and event-driven architectures.
- Production experience implementing observability solutions for logging, metrics, and alerting.
- Experience with Entra ID, role-based access control, Management Groups, and Azure Policy.
- Experience administering Windows and Linux cloud virtual machines, including Active Directory integration, storage, networking, backup, monitoring, access control, and troubleshooting.
- Experience designing and managing databases, with knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MS SQL.
- Strong troubleshooting and incident management experience, including root cause analysis.
- Good communication and client-interaction skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
- Azure, AWS, GCP, Terraform, or Kubernetes certifications are preferred.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or Azure DevOps AI features is preferred.
