Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure as code using Terraform and Kubernetes.
- Design and manage AWS cloud infrastructure for high availability, security, and performance.
- Automate configuration management, software deployment, and orchestration with Ansible.
- Write and maintain Python scripts for infrastructure and application automation.
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues.
- Collaborate with development, professional services, and operations teams on application deployment and operation.
- Ensure infrastructure and deployment processes comply with security standards and best practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of total experience and 3+ years of development experience in Python.
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes container orchestration and management.
- Experience deploying containers with Helm.
- Experience with Ansible for application deployment and configuration.
- Experience managing AWS infrastructure with Terraform and strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and knowledge of Puppet.
- B.E., B.Tech, M.Tech, or M.Sc. in Computer Science, IT, or another engineering field preferred, or equivalent qualifications.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, or similar certification preferred.
- Good coding skills in Python or Perl.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work effectively with distributed teams in high-pressure environments.
- Detail orientation, task focus, communication skills, customer service focus, and the ability to solve IT operations problems collaboratively.
