Responsibilities
- Design and operate secure, scalable, highly available, cost-optimized, and compliant cloud platforms.
- Lead end-to-end DevOps and cloud infrastructure practices across GCP, AWS, and hybrid environments.
- Design and manage Terraform-based infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
- Design and secure GCP network architectures using Shared VPCs, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud NAT, Cloud Armor, and VPC Service Controls.
- Build and manage Kubernetes and serverless container platforms, including GKE and Cloud Run.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Create automation, API integrations, and custom tooling with Python, Go, or Bash.
- Implement observability solutions for logging, metrics, and alerting.
- Administer cloud virtual machines, identity and access management, storage, networking, backups, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Design and manage databases and support incident management and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, architects, clients, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of hands-on DevOps experience.
- Strong production experience with GCP and exposure to AWS; Azure experience or willingness to work across other cloud and hybrid environments is also relevant.
- Deep hands-on experience designing and managing Terraform-based infrastructure provisioning.
- Strong experience designing and securing GCP network architectures and working with GKE.
- Experience with Cloud Run, CI/CD pipelines, serverless and event-driven architectures, and observability solutions.
- Proficiency with Python, Go, or Bash for automation and custom tooling.
- Experience with GCP IAM and Admin, service accounts, workload identity, governance, and cloud virtual machine administration.
- Experience administering Windows and Linux cloud virtual machines, including Active Directory integration, storage, networking, backups, performance optimization, access control, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Experience designing and managing databases, with knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, including client and stakeholder interaction.
- AWS, GCP, Azure, Terraform, or Kubernetes certifications are preferred.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.
