Responsibilities
- Partner with Legal practice group leads, paralegals, and in-house counsel to identify workflow automation and AI integration opportunities.
- Own the full lifecycle of Legal AI tools as the technical DRI, from intake through design, testing, deployment, and support.
- Build, test, and deploy Legal AI workflows, multi-agent workflows, RAG pipelines, and Claude Enterprise-powered AI copilots; MCP development is an additional opportunity.
- Lead discovery workshops and translate business requirements into engineering-ready specifications.
- Manage Legal governance intake, reviews, and approvals involving PLADIS, Security, and Privacy.
- Maintain and communicate the Legal Tech project portfolio, including initiative tracking and prioritization.
- Build relationships with Deputy General Counsels, Legal Operations leaders, and BizTech, Security, and Engineering partners.
- Design and deliver Claude Enterprise training for Legal teams covering prompting, workflow integration, and responsible AI use.
- Create adoption playbooks, user guides, and enablement materials for lawyers, paralegals, and Legal Operations staff.
- Track usage metrics and adoption KPIs and report impact to Legal Technology and CLO leadership.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional experience in Legal Technology or Enterprise SaaS implementation, preferably in a technology company or law firm technology function.
- At least 2 years of demonstrated experience using AI in workflows and supporting customers.
- Proven experience architecting and building AI-powered applications, including multi-agent workflows, retrieval systems, and LLM integrations.
- Proven experience in forward-deployed, embedded, or client-centric technical roles.
- Experience researching and implementing custom Marketplace applications from research through design and implementation.
- An advanced degree such as an MS or MBA in Business, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience designing and implementing custom business solutions and integrations using enterprise platforms.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration experience in large global organizations.
- Ability to lead complex projects, simplify technical concepts, promote operational excellence, critique technical designs, lead workshops, and engage senior leadership.
- Ability to identify and implement product and process improvements while securing stakeholder and leadership buy-in.
