Base Salary
$94k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, build, test, implement, and support new or revised application systems and programs.
- Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk assessment, application development, and model development.
- Develop robust, scalable, and resilient enterprise-level Java applications.
- Design and implement cloud-native, event-driven, database, API, and application security solutions.
- Monitor and control development processes while ensuring operating standards, procedures, and compliance requirements are followed.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups; recommend programming solutions and provide operational support.
- Perform post-implementation analysis and develop security measures to ensure system functionality and successful business usage.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert and advisor or coach to junior analysts and other team members.
- Work independently, manage deadlines and changing priorities, and drive technical strategy.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in systems analysis and software application programming.
- Expert-level Java development skills and experience designing and developing robust, scalable, and resilient enterprise applications.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Apache Kafka, RDBMS database design, API development, and application security best practices including OAuth, TLS, and PKI.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects, with working knowledge of consulting and project management techniques.
- Ability to analyze complex problems, exercise independent judgment, manage risk, communicate with stakeholders, and work under pressure.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Redis or GemFire and modern UI frameworks such as React or Angular is desirable.
Benefits
- Full-time employment; compensation is provided as a base salary range of $94,300.00–$141,500.00.
