Responsibilities
- Own the CI/CD and GitOps security integration lifecycle, including SAST, DAST, SCA, and secrets scanning.
- Develop scalable Python and API-driven automation for vulnerability detection, compliance reporting, and remediation tracking.
- Establish company-wide AppSec standards, baselines, and metrics with Security Architecture.
- Partner with product, platform, and DevOps teams to promote secure coding, prioritize vulnerabilities, and protect applications, APIs, and microservices.
Requirements
- Demonstrated mastery of embedding security controls into CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and GitOps environments.
- Advanced proficiency in Python or equivalent programming languages for automation, web API integrations, and security-tool integration.
- Deep understanding of secure coding, cloud-native architectures, microservices, APIs, containerized workloads, and OWASP vulnerability frameworks.
- Proven ability to build consensus and drive uniform security-baseline adoption across engineering, product, and DevOps teams.
- Ability to work primarily from the Santa Clara, California office.
