Base Salary

$186k - $279k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Define, promote, and threat-model secure design patterns across AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Advise product, platform, and engineering teams on integrating security principles into development workflows.
  • Collaborate with Security Operations to improve infrastructure telemetry, log data pipelines, detection logic, and AI-assisted analytics.
  • Design and deploy security automation using Python and APIs.
  • Provide hands-on leadership for Linux security hardening, identity management, and network segmentation.

Requirements

  • Strong foundation in security engineering with experience designing and implementing real-world solutions.
  • Proven ability to design and execute security architectures for public and hybrid cloud environments using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Deep knowledge of network segmentation, identity and access management, and zero-trust principles.
  • Advanced technical proficiency in Linux system hardening and production-grade automation using Python or an equivalent language.
  • Hands-on experience engineering visibility with SIEM or logging platforms such as Splunk or ELK.
  • Ability to evaluate complex architectures, negotiate risk trade-offs with engineering partners, and communicate recommendations to engineers and leadership.
