Base Salary
$99k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build service technologies supporting CASB and next-generation Secure Web Gateway solutions.
- Design, implement, and enhance cloud backend software for Netskope Cloud Security solutions.
- Write high-throughput code using modern software development techniques.
- Research solutions and implement reliable, sustainable, scalable, and observable features.
- Work with Product Management to understand customer requirements.
- Write and execute development test routines for modules.
- Collaborate with QA to improve product testing.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience developing cloud security, network, endpoint, or other security software products, or a proven record of building, scaling, and maintaining security software.
- Strong programming skills in Golang, Python, and Node.js.
- Experience designing and shipping APIs in highly scalable, distributed environments.
- Hands-on experience with containers and Kubernetes deployments.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTPS, TLS, and related technologies.
- Knowledge of cryptographic techniques and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience or strong interest in agentic coding systems and agent harnesses such as Claude Code, Pi, and Codex.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, including debugging and root cause analysis across distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
- BS in Computer Science required; MS in Computer Science strongly preferred.
