Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade cloud-native application architectures using Azure services.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Establish Azure governance, security, cost optimization, architecture, deployment, and operations best practices.
- Define solution blueprints and oversee application modernization and migration to Azure.
- Work with DevOps and development teams to enable CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, coaching, and direction to development and project teams.
- Design highly available, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
- Analyze complex cloud-related technical issues, recommend solutions, and lead resolution efforts.
- Create architectural documentation, reports, presentations, and client deliverables.
- Deliver solutions architecture for major clients and serve as a trusted advisor to client CIOs and CTOs.
- Participate in pre-sales and post-sales activities, including solution development and business winning.
- Build cloud capabilities, service accelerators, differentiators, go-to-market strategies, and strategic alliance partnerships.
- Develop client relationships and contribute to white papers, blogs, presentations, and other thought leadership.
- Manage estimates, tasks, escalations, risks, issues, and project reviews.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience is stated in the job overview.
- At least 10+ years of relevant experience as an Azure Cloud Application Architect.
- Expertise designing high-level, enterprise-grade solution architectures.
- Ability to manage estimates, tasks, escalations, risks, and issues.
- Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to audiences with varying technical backgrounds.
- Azure Certified Solution Architect certification, referenced as AZ-303/AZ-304/AZ-305.
- Experience providing technical leadership, client advisory, pre-sales, post-sales, and team mentoring.
