Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and enhance scalable integration solutions that meet business outcomes and enterprise standards.
  • Investigate complex business and technical challenges and contribute to balanced system design decisions.
  • Build and release features, improve existing capabilities, and support ongoing platform optimisation.
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders and contribute to technical discussions.
  • Participate in production support, diagnose issues, resolve incidents, and improve system reliability and resilience.
  • Share knowledge with the engineering community and coach other team members.

Requirements

  • Expertise designing and developing Java and Spring Boot services, including REST APIs and integration patterns.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals with emphasis on quality, maintainability, performance, observability, and security.
  • Ability to apply secure integration concepts including authentication methods, certificates, and API protection.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, collaboration, and pragmatic problem-solving skills.
  • Experience or exposure to CI/CD, DevOps, Jenkins, AWS, Kubernetes, and API gateway or API management concepts is advantageous.
  • More experienced candidates should demonstrate technical leadership, mentoring capability, and the ability to influence technical decisions across teams.
