Base Salary
$138k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, scalable software solutions and production code.
- Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure software satisfies design constraints.
- Write automated unit tests and maintain algorithms and applications for operational stability.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets, develop visualizations and reporting, and use insights to improve code quality and system architecture.
- Participate in software engineering communities of practice and contribute to an inclusive team culture.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of applied software engineering experience plus formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, operational stability, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment.
- Proficiency with Java, SpringBoot, JPA, and REST.
- Experience writing high-quality code with automated unit test coverage using JUnit, Mockito, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of modern programming languages, database querying languages, the software development life cycle, CI/CD, application resiliency, security, and agile methodologies.
- Preferred experience with ReactJS or AngularJS, AWS, and automation.
