
Software Quality Assurance Analyst

- Execute functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end test cases.
- Document and report software defects with detailed reproduction steps.
- Assist with test case design, modification, test plan development, and requirements and design reviews.
- Conduct initial root cause analysis and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.
- Maintain and update test environments and QA documentation.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites and contribute to automation framework enhancements.
- Analyze test results, troubleshoot automation failures, and improve test coverage and execution efficiency.
- Support continuous integration and quality engineering initiatives that shift testing earlier in the development lifecycle.
- Train and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- Working and expanded conceptual knowledge of software testing and current technologies.
- Experience executing diverse test cases and participating in test case design.
- Proficiency with bug reporting and tracking, including tools such as JIRA and qTest.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright, JavaScript or TypeScript, and Postman for automation and API testing.
- Experience with source code management tools such as Git.
- Ability to perform initial defect root cause analysis and troubleshoot automation failures.
- Understanding of basic software architecture and functions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, communication, collaboration, and time-management skills.
