Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Python-based automation solutions.
- Manage Git and GitHub workflows, including branching, pull requests, code review, and change check-in processes.
- Develop and maintain Linux shell scripts for automation, monitoring, and operational tasks.
- Support software integration, release activities, troubleshooting, and process improvements with cross-functional teams.
- Test GPON, WLAN, and ONT/OLT networking products across Layer 2–7 protocols.
- Analyze new features, create test plans, and add test cases.
- Communicate with stakeholders, developers, and project teams to resolve issues and deliver milestones.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus 2+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related experience; alternatively, a master’s degree plus 1+ year or a PhD.
- Strong Python programming and automation development expertise.
- Hands-on experience with Git, GitHub, branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Proficiency with Linux operating systems, shell scripting, and command-line tools.
- Knowledge of GPON, networking, WLAN, manual testing, ONT/OLT products, and Layer 2–7 protocols.
- Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with AI-driven automation, agentic AI workflows, workflow orchestration, DevOps, release management, or software integration environments is advantageous.
- Bachelor of Engineering qualification is preferred, with E&C preferred.
