Base Salary

$82k - $193k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Translate business requirements into robust, high-performance AI architectural blueprints.
  • Design scalable machine learning infrastructure across on-premises, cloud-hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.
  • Write clean, modular, maintainable production code and develop custom AI solutions, pipelines, APIs, and integrations.
  • Evaluate and select LLMs, SLMs, and traditional ML models based on latency, cost, and accuracy requirements.
  • Tune, quantize, and prune models to meet performance thresholds.
  • Integrate AI services with enterprise software ecosystems and security, compliance, and data governance frameworks.
  • Lead development efforts, mentor junior staff, and ensure code quality and model security best practices.
  • Maintain architectural documentation, including data flow diagrams and API specifications.
  • Implement model versioning, monitoring, and CI/CD practices for AI systems.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and data pipeline architectures.
  • Use containerization and orchestration for AI platforms.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience designing, developing, and delivering enterprise-scale technology solutions, including AI/ML architectures.
  • Proficiency with Python-based frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, and LlamaIndex.
  • Hands-on experience with MLflow, Kubeflow, Weights & Biases, or comparable model versioning and monitoring tools.
  • Strong RESTful API development experience with FastAPI and Flask.
  • Experience architecting data pipelines with Apache Airflow, Kafka, and Spark.
  • Deep understanding of neural networks and transformer architecture, including loss functions and optimization.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with familiarity with C++ or Go for high-performance components.
  • Expertise with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Milvus, and Weaviate, as well as traditional relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Ability to design secure, scalable, high-performance AI platforms and integrate them with enterprise ecosystems.
  • Experience with data privacy, security, compliance, and governance requirements.
  • Ability to mentor junior staff and work within an Agile/Scrum delivery environment.

  • Base compensation range of $82,082-$193,440 annually, with possible additional variable compensation, bonuses, or commissions.
