Responsibilities
- Develop and implement applications according to technical designs, process requirements, and system specifications.
- Integrate technical components into working applications using Express.js, Angular, Node.js, and React.
- Participate in technical design and code reviews and create and perform quality and system tests.
- Analyze and resolve software issues, develop specifications, and recommend improvements and enhancements.
- Collaborate with business analysts, vendors, technical staff, IT teams, and other stakeholders.
- Create and maintain solution documentation and ensure business standards are met.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Over five years of application development experience.
- Proven experience as a Senior Application Developer in the insurance industry.
- Strong technical skills in Express.js, Angular, Node.js, and React.
- Experience across a range of technology and non-technology projects.
- Ability to interpret process models, requirements, and business scenarios to develop solutions.
- Good understanding of agentic development concepts, including autonomous AI agents for business workflow automation and data analysis.
- Ability to speak Japanese is required.
- Experience in fast-paced environments and international projects, particularly those related to Japan, is preferred.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills are preferred.
