Base Salary
$218k - $257k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the technical strategy, architecture, and roadmap for wallet, liquidity, and bridging systems.
- Build and evolve distributed Go backend systems orchestrating liquidity movements, cross-chain bridging, and transaction lifecycles.
- Decompose legacy systems into modular, reusable platform services and improve service-oriented architecture.
- Partner with Trading, Custody, Staking, and cross-platform engineering teams on integration contracts and dependencies.
- Lead reliability and operational excellence through observability, incident response, and systemic improvements for Tier-0 wallet services.
- Shape engineering standards and technical culture through design reviews, architectural RFCs, cross-team initiatives, and mentoring.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with deep expertise in Go and large-scale, service-oriented distributed systems.
- Experience architecting and operating production backend services handling high-throughput transaction volumes with strict correctness and reliability requirements.
- Hands-on blockchain experience including transaction construction, signing, broadcasting, key management, or cross-chain bridging.
- Experience with blockchain protocols such as Ethereum, Bitcoin, or Solana.
- A track record of decomposing monolithic systems into scalable microservices or platform primitives used by multiple teams.
- Experience influencing technical direction across teams, leading cross-team initiatives, and representing an area in organization-level forums.
- Ability to use generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
