Base Salary
$70k - $120k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build proofs of concept, prototypes, example code, and reusable solutions using Generative AI models.
- Develop advanced usage patterns and best practices for GenAI applications and the broader Generative AI ecosystem.
- Collaborate with AI engineers to prioritize capabilities for the firmwide AI platform roadmap.
- Advise application owners and developers on models, tools, libraries, and AI development patterns.
- Troubleshoot customer adoption of GenAI platform capabilities and update user documentation.
- Provide feedback to platform engineering teams to improve customer experience.
- Enable application teams to use pre-trained and fine-tuned models at scale.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences and influence development teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent job experience.
- 8–12 years of experience in software engineering, design, and development.
- Experience developing Generative AI applications and working with deep learning and contemporary model architectures.
- Strong hands-on proficiency in Python and machine learning libraries including NumPy, OpenCV, scikit-learn, pandas, Matplotlib, and seaborn.
- Understanding of the AI/ML lifecycle and systems such as MLflow, Dataiku, and Databricks.
- Understanding of data engineering, SQL, NoSQL, big data, data governance, data privacy, and security.
- Demonstrated DevOps experience and hands-on experience managing code in Bitbucket and GitHub repositories.
- Understanding of deep learning and machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Experience working with cloud providers, preferably Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience with AI development services including Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Azure Search, Azure Cognitive Services, AWS Bedrock, AWS SageMaker, and Google Vertex AI.
- Experience with Generative AI development, embeddings, fine-tuning, and ModelOps, MLOps, or LLMOps is preferred.
- Experience working with application development teams, creating code samples, and operating in a large regulated industry is preferred.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills across global teams and time zones.
