Base Salary
$180k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement, train, and evaluate real-time 3D perception models using multiple cameras.
- Optimize models to run on resource-constrained onboard computers.
- Develop visualization and evaluation tools to assess model performance.
- Design data selection pipelines to identify valuable field data for annotation.
- Collaborate with the droid planner team to ensure system integration and performance metrics.
- Stay current with research and drive experimentation in real-time 3D perception.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in building and deploying deep learning-based perception systems.
- Strong understanding of classical computer vision techniques.
- Expertise in robotics fundamentals and probabilistic sensor fusion.
- Hands-on experience with CNN and transformer architectures on target hardware.
- An engineering mindset focused on outcomes and prioritization.
- Familiarity with training, data annotation, and evaluation pipelines.
- Comfort in working across systems and debugging distributed training issues.
- Experience in real-world robotics or autonomy applications is a plus.
