Base Salary
$180k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy algorithms for aircraft and obstacle detection using camera systems.
- Develop scalable model training pipelines and evaluation frameworks.
- Collaborate with teams to design end-to-end test plans for perception systems.
- Create debugging and analysis tools for field data insights.
- Refine ML models and tracking algorithms based on feedback.
- Contribute to the architecture of Zipline's detect-and-avoid system.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in perception systems for autonomous robots or vehicles.
- Expertise in deep learning models for object detection and tracking.
- Knowledge of geometric computer vision techniques for 3D position estimation.
- Proven problem-solving skills with a track record of overcoming performance bottlenecks.
- Hands-on experience with commercially operated autonomous systems.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities in a dynamic engineering environment.
