Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and operate features and services within enterprise-scale infrastructure platforms across the software development lifecycle.
  • Write and review production code while considering reliability, performance, security, and cost.
  • Diagnose and resolve production problems alongside senior engineers and develop end-to-end service understanding.
  • Use AI-assisted development, code review, test generation, and incident triage with appropriate validation.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation, respond to production incidents, and build operability and observability into shipped systems.
  • Analyze and improve systems for quality, scalability, efficiency, and performance.
  • Decompose scoped problems into executable work for yourself and AI agents and integrate results into production-ready systems.
  • Define success criteria, measure impact, collaborate with stakeholders, contribute to technical decisions, and raise risks proactively.
  • Apply security and operational-risk judgment in engineering work.

Requirements

  • Applied experience producing production code in an industry-standard language such as Python, Go, Java, C++, or Rust.
  • Working knowledge of *nix systems, including Linux or UNIX-like operating systems, and networking fundamentals.
  • Hands-on exposure to at least one infrastructure domain, such as cloud, networking, compute, storage, security, or data infrastructure, or a clear appetite to specialize.
  • Working experience with infrastructure-level systems and tooling, including Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, and databases.
  • Developing systems thinking, including awareness of interfaces, contracts, and common failure modes.
  • Fluency using AI tools for engineering work and judgment about where AI is appropriate versus where deep human expertise is required.
  • Security-first mindset, clear communication, outcome orientation, and comfort working within defined scope in a greenfield environment.
  • Preferred qualifications include exposure to multiple infrastructure domains or programming languages, experience with services at scale and incident response, automation that reduces operational toil, context or prompt engineering, agent orchestration, regulated or enterprise environments, and the ability to solve well-scoped technical problems independently.

Benefits

  • Work in a brand-new Dublin engineering hub on greenfield infrastructure projects.
  • Write real production code alongside senior engineers with opportunities for technical growth and career development.
  • Work AI-native across the software development lifecycle and contribute infrastructure that scales across the firm.
