Responsibilities
- Manage and evolve AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters.
- Perform capacity planning, autoscaling, reliability engineering, incident response, post-mortems, and on-call support.
- Design scalable infrastructure for AI-driven analytics and data processing at scale.
- Build and maintain Helm charts, Terraform configurations, and multi-environment deployments.
- Own monitoring and alerting using Prometheus/Mimir, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
- Administer PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and Redis, and support RabbitMQ, AWS SQS, and Temporal.
- Manage infrastructure security, including secrets, IAM policies, vulnerability scanning, encryption, and network configuration.
- Design and operate VPCs, subnets, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs.
- Monitor cloud spending, identify waste, right-size resources, and report on cost efficiency.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and use AI-assisted development tools to ship validated code.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role.
- Hands-on experience with most of the stated cloud, Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, database, messaging, and monitoring stack.
- Strong Linux fundamentals and Bash and/or Python scripting skills.
- Practical experience using Claude Code or agentic coding, including validating AI-generated code.
- Experience with Kubernetes cluster design, capacity planning, and reliability at scale.
- Comfort with ambiguity, fast-changing priorities, and high-volume, high-stakes systems.
- Availability during Eastern Time and fluency in English.
- Preferred: Golang or Python development background, HashiStack experience with Vault and Packer, ClickHouse administration, and experience supporting data-intensive pipelines.
