Base Salary

$79k - $119k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test mission systems software.
  • Collaborate with IPT Leads, Integration Requirements Engineers, Software Requirements Engineers, and other developers to meet program goals.
  • Ensure software quality, requirement verification, technical integration, schedule performance, and compliance with design and architecture processes.
  • Administer Linux and Windows servers and integrate software across multiple operating systems.
  • Use C++, Java, Python, Bash, and PowerShell for development and task automation.
  • Perform post-flight data analysis to validate system performance and support continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and at least 2 years of direct software engineering experience, or a master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 0 years of direct software-related experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance, with an interim DoD Secret clearance required to start.
  • Understanding of sensor fusion concepts and sensor management workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes in development or production settings.
  • Proven ability to administer Linux and Windows servers and integrate software across multiple operating systems.
  • Proficiency in C++ and Java, with scripting experience in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Preferred: experience developing machine learning models for sensor fusion or autonomous sensor management.
  • Preferred: experience using ML frameworks to train and evaluate models in simulated environments.
  • Preferred: experience deploying, operating, and scaling containerized applications with Kubernetes or comparable orchestration platforms in distributed systems.
