Base Salary
$75k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, test, and deliver software products as part of an Integrated Product Team.
- Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, build, test, and release.
- Develop enterprise solutions using Java Enterprise Edition in a service-oriented architecture environment.
- Apply object-oriented programming, design patterns, JMS, web services, XML, XPath, XSLT, and XSD.
- Collaborate with developers, integrators, system engineers, hardware designers, and integration/test engineers in a laboratory environment.
Requirements
- Level 2 requires a bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 2 years of related engineering experience, or a master's degree in a STEM discipline and entry-level engineering experience.
- Level 3 requires a bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 5 years of related engineering experience, a master's degree and 3 years of related engineering experience, or a PhD and 1 year of related engineering experience.
- Direct experience developing Java applications is required.
- Ability to transfer and maintain a final adjudicated U.S. government Top Secret clearance, which must be in scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation, is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain initial Special Program Access (SAP/PAR) before employment begins is required.
- Preferred qualifications include a current applicable SAP clearance; a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering; Java EE and SOA experience; and experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Cucumber, microservices, Security+, Agile development, GUI applications, threading, object-oriented programming, design patterns, JMS, Knockout, web services, XML, XPath, XSLT, and XSD.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and cross-level interfacing skills are preferred.
