Base Salary

$101k - $152k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop tools, flows, methodologies, and infrastructure solutions for VLSI design and emulation.
  • Develop CAD algorithms for synthesis, partitioning, place and route, and clock optimization.
  • Drive compute and storage optimization.
  • Apply software design principles, practices, and patterns in CAD software development.
  • Work with industry-standard tools and technologies to address Qualcomm SoC needs.
  • Mentor and lead other members of the team.
  • Create customer-facing applications and work independently on technical problems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Preferred master’s or PhD in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • Preferred 2+ years of experience in ASIC design, FPGA design, verification, or related work.
  • Preferred 2+ years of C++ software development, CAD tool development, or related experience.
  • Preferred 2+ years of hands-on Linux experience and direct CAD software development experience.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
  • Experience with RTL synthesis, clock tree optimization, VLSI design concepts, and logic design.
  • Experience with Git, LSF, JIRA, GCC, and related technologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills and the ability to work independently.
