Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Cloud & Application, Test Automation, DevSecOps, and Systems Test teams in an Agile software development environment.
- Participate in the software development lifecycle, including prototyping, graphical user interface design, implementation, and build/test/release delivery.
- Develop enterprise solutions using Java Enterprise Edition in a service-oriented architecture environment.
- Apply object-oriented programming, design patterns, JMS, Web Services, XML, XPath, XSLT, and XSD.
- Collaborate regularly with team members across a process-oriented software development environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and two years of related engineering experience, or a master’s degree in a STEM discipline and entry-level related engineering experience.
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle, Agile software development, software integration, and testing.
- Experience with Java, C, C++, and Python.
- Experience with at least two of Jira, GitLab, Docker, Fortify, Coverity, or Black Duck.
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with a recent background investigation or enrollment in Continuous Evaluation.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program access through the required Program Access Requests.
- Preferred qualifications include experience documenting and presenting software architecture using modeling or diagramming tools and current SAP access.
- U.S. citizenship is required for positions requiring government clearance.
