Base Salary
$87k - $157k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop web services, full-stack web applications, and robust persistence layers.
- Apply secure software development principles, clean coding techniques, fault tolerance, maintainability, and S.O.L.I.D. practices.
- Use continuous integration, automated testing, and Test Driven Development practices within the Leidos Agile Framework.
- Set testing standards and help the team adopt and adhere to TDD practices.
- Collaborate with software engineers, system engineers, information assurance engineers, test engineers, quality assurance personnel, and other project team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with relevant experience accepted in place of a degree.
- At least four years of relevant experience.
- Active Secret clearance.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in a web-based environment.
- Experience in Scrum or another Agile environment such as SAFe or XP.
- Experience with UI or development frameworks such as AngularJS, Ionic, GWT, SmartGWT, Qt, React, or Node.js.
- Experience with automated testing tools and concepts such as Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, and BDD, plus Test Driven Development.
- DoD 8570-approved security certification, such as Security+, required within 90 days of hire.
- Preferred experience includes REST, SOAP, AWS, Git, GitHub, CI and DevOps tools, build scripts, security scanning, mobile application development, Agile management tools, web server configuration, and database development.
- Strong teamwork, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
