Responsibilities
- Integrate off-the-shelf and custom radio hardware into drone connectivity architecture.
- Write, test, and maintain software routines in Linux user space and driver layers.
- Develop automated routines to log and analyze wireless link performance metrics.
- Collaborate with RF, embedded systems, and cloud teams on rate adaptation algorithms.
- Run flight data analyses and perform hardware-in-the-loop testing.
Requirements
- Solid programming skills in C, C++, and Python.
- Demonstrated capability in Linux environments.
- Technical understanding of networking concepts or embedded systems.
- Practical exposure to wireless communications or microcontrollers.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a related technical field.
- Experience with wireless standards like 802.11 or 5G is a plus.
