Base Salary
$115k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement and deliver core C and C++ software components for the Yocto-based embedded Linux platform.
- Conduct lab-based bring-up, debugging, and on-device performance testing on drone and camera hardware.
- Identify, isolate, and resolve software defects and hardware integration issues.
- Document system architectures, technical designs, and test plans.
- Author automation scripts in Python or Bash and contribute to CI/CD workflows.
Requirements
- Proficiency in C and C++ development within embedded Linux environments.
- Hands-on experience with the Yocto Project or similar embedded build systems.
- Understanding of low-level Linux concepts, including bootloaders and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with source control tools like Git and CI pipelines using GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Practical experience with Rust, Qualcomm SoCs, ARM architectures, or Linux device drivers is a plus.
