Base Salary
$130k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement custom Android system services and hardware abstractions.
- Build testable system-level features using Kotlin, Java, Rust, and C++.
- Diagnose OS-level memory leaks, concurrency deadlocks, and performance bottlenecks.
- Develop automated CTS and VTS test suites and system update pipelines.
- Conduct root-cause analysis on system tombstones and bug reports.
Requirements
- Practical experience designing versioned service interfaces using AIDL or HIDL.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and Java with strong knowledge of OS threading concepts.
- Experience building or debugging custom AOSP environments and shell scripts.
- Capability to trace execution flow across different layers of the Android stack.
- Experience with C or C++, Linux kernel drivers, or Qualcomm camera stacks is a plus.
