Responsibilities
- Advance the Android-based system stack focusing on cellular connectivity and fleet stability.
- Engineer low-level AOSP system initialization routines and file system structures.
- Optimize cellular stack integrations for LTE and 5G modems.
- Analyze device telemetry and network metrics to diagnose fleet anomalies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design power-aware connectivity states.
Requirements
- Practical experience in embedded systems or OS-level development.
- Deep knowledge of low-level Android OS architectures and AOSP internals.
- Hands-on expertise with cellular networking stacks, including LTE/5G.
- Technical understanding of SELinux security policies and permissions management.
- Proficiency in networking protocols including TCP/IP and Wi-Fi architectures.
- A bachelor's, master's, or Ph.D. degree in a related technical field is required.
