Responsibilities
- Design and architect unified testing frameworks portable across SIL, HIL, and simulation environments.
- Build, configure, and maintain physical HIL benches and hardware interfaces such as CAN adapters.
- Integrate automated HIL testing into CI pipelines to prevent regressions before code merges.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to improve HIL infrastructure and CI systems.
- Monitor and report runtime performance, system health, and reliability metrics across HIL platforms.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of HIL, SIL, and simulation testing strategies for safety-critical systems.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and Bash for scripting and test automation.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD best practices and principles.
- Hands-on ability to troubleshoot physical test benches, read electrical schematics, and use oscilloscopes, multimeters, and PCAN adapters.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code and environment management tools, including Nix or similar tools such as Docker and Ansible.
- Experience with Buildkite is a plus.
