Responsibilities
- Write and modify embedded C firmware for analog and Ethernet connectivity devices.
- Work on low-level hardware bring-up and debug alongside senior firmware engineers.
- Contribute to features spanning analog control and Ethernet link management.
- Write Python scripts to automate test flows and analyze data.
- Develop and execute test plans in collaboration with validation teams.
- Keep Jira tickets updated and track your own work.
- Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience writing embedded C/C++ firmware on real hardware.
- Comfort working at the hardware/software boundary and reading datasheets.
- Familiarity with Linux development tools such as gcc/clang and git.
- Some experience with Python scripting for test automation or data analysis.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
- A genuine interest in solving complex problems.
Benefits
- Base salary range of CAD 140,000 to CAD 180,000 depending on experience.
