Senior Software Engineer (Android)
TripAdvisorResponsibilities
- Write and maintain Android application code for Tripadvisor Experiences.
- Contribute occasionally to backend microservices and work across different levels of the software stack.
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to define specifications and deliver high-quality customer features.
- Own software engineering work from design and implementation through development experience, QA, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with engineering groups located around the world.
Requirements
- Experience developing Android applications.
- At least 5 years of commercial software development experience solving varied technical problems.
- Experience with reactive programming on native mobile platforms.
- Familiarity with mobile web and backend technologies is beneficial.
- Ability and willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.
- Ability to break complex problems into simple solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong sense of ownership and pride in work.
