Responsibilities
- Build and support resilient, secure, and scalable infrastructure across Google Cloud Platform.
- Implement declarative GitOps workflows with ArgoCD and secure CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions.
- Manage Google Kubernetes Engine clusters and support production OpenShift deployments, including service mesh reliability and automated lifecycle management.
- Author and maintain modular infrastructure and configuration with Terraform.
- Operate highly available, fault-tolerant systems with multi-zone and multi-region disaster recovery and zero-downtime delivery.
- Support observability using metrics, logs, and traces through Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and GCP Cloud Operations.
- Collaborate with developers, platform teams, architects, and security specialists.
Requirements
- Multiple years of hands-on production experience with Google Cloud Platform, including IAM, VPC, Compute Engine, GKE, and Secret Manager.
- Proven experience implementing GitOps pipelines with ArgoCD and scalable delivery workflows with GitHub Actions.
- Strong production experience with Kubernetes, preferably GKE, plus Helm, Kustomize, container runtimes, and container security.
- Proficiency with Terraform in collaborative enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding and active adoption of modern AI and GenAI technologies.
- Strong Linux, systems engineering, and automation scripting skills with Python, Bash, or Go.
- Experience architecting and operating mission-critical systems with strict SLAs, low latency, and zero-downtime requirements.
- Relevant GCP certifications and experience with Istio, Anthos Service Mesh, zero-trust security, Grafana Cloud, or financial market and quantitative risk infrastructure are desirable.
- Fluent English and Czech are required.
