Responsibilities
- Build and operate core platform capabilities for large-scale Identity and Security services.
- Develop automation, fleet management, orchestration, rollout, and recovery solutions for cloud environments.
- Partner with Azure, Microsoft Defender, and Identity engineering teams to deliver secure, reliable, highly available services.
- Improve platform reliability, security, observability, operational excellence, scalability, performance, and developer productivity.
- Design and build cloud-native systems using Kubernetes, containers, distributed systems, and infrastructure automation.
- Use production insights and customer feedback to guide platform investments and service improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and proven software engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining production software using C#, .NET, or similar object-oriented programming languages.
- Experience building cloud-native or distributed systems with understanding of reliability, security, scalability, and service operations.
- Experience with cloud platforms, infrastructure technologies, or platform engineering concepts including Kubernetes, containers, networking, or infrastructure automation.
- Experience building automation, orchestration, or fleet management systems for large-scale cloud environments.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Azure cloud services, and modern infrastructure-as-code or platform automation technologies.
- Experience operating highly available distributed systems with focus on reliability, security, and safe service evolution.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Passion for solving complex infrastructure challenges through software engineering and automation.
