Responsibilities
- Develop efficient, scalable, and maintainable backend features for the UniFi application.
- Develop REST APIs and integrations with network device firmware and other UniFi OS applications.
- Participate in feature design, development, and testing.
- Conduct code reviews for other team members.
Requirements
- Senior-level engineering experience, typically 5+ years shipping production systems.
- Strong problem-solving and systems-thinking skills, including the ability to break down ambiguous problems and design effective solutions.
- Good understanding of SOLID principles and experience in web application development.
- Daily, fluent use of AI coding assistants as a core part of the workflow.
- Fluency in English and Czech.
- Kotlin and Spring framework knowledge is preferred.
- Advanced networking knowledge and familiarity with networking, virtualization, storage, and hardware are preferred.
- Experience with Bash and Unix is preferred.
