Base Salary
$159k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end generative AI applications using Python, LangChain, LlamaIndex, and Google Cloud.
- Develop advanced retrieval-augmented generation pipelines and semantic search systems using Google Cloud Vector Search or Pinecone.
- Lead LLM and embedding fine-tuning efforts to improve domain-specific performance.
- Build and manage agentic workflows for complex multi-step reasoning tasks.
- Collaborate directly with customers to understand requirements, propose features, and implement advanced AI techniques.
- Productionize AI solutions using MLOps practices so models are efficiently served, monitored, and continuously improved.
- Address production constraints including latency, error handling, cost optimization, scalability, robustness, and ethical AI considerations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 8 years of experience in AI/ML.
- Proven experience deploying generative AI products to production.
- Mastery of Python and shell scripting.
- Extensive experience with Google Gemini, GPT-4, or LLaMA, including prompt engineering and fine-tuning.
- Expertise with vector databases and semantic search.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud and Vertex AI.
- Proficiency with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar orchestration frameworks.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including clean maintainable code and full software development lifecycle knowledge.
- Knowledge of data engineering and SQL.
- Experience with classic machine learning, including neural networks, training, and tuning, is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate with clients, translate technical complexity into business value, and support responsible AI development and data privacy.
