Responsibilities

Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js.
Optimize database queries and data storage for improved system performance and efficiency.
Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and support industry compliance.
Troubleshoot and debug issues to minimize downtime and maintain a reliable user experience.
Monitor system health and performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
Write clean, maintainable, and documented code following development standards and best practices.
Evaluate emerging technologies and incorporate relevant advancements into the technology stack and development processes.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 2 years of professional backend development experience focused on Node.js and TypeScript.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and experience with frameworks or libraries such as Express.js.
Experience with relational databases, including database design, optimization, and querying; PostgreSQL is preferred.
Familiarity with Firebase or similar cloud-based services for real-time data synchronization and authentication.
Experience with scalable and distributed systems, microservices architecture, and containerization such as Docker or Kubernetes is a plus.
Knowledge of web service architectures and strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills.
