Base Salary
$144k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own features end-to-end across requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, operations, and documentation.
- Develop scalable, maintainable, high-availability software that serves millions of customers globally.
- Solve ambiguous implementation problems while balancing technical constraints and long-term system quality.
- Maintain and enhance the current solution stack while building next-generation self-service tools.
- Contribute to system design and architecture and ensure code quality, performance, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Mentor other engineers through code reviews and help build team capability.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience with software design or architecture, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of Object Oriented Design experience.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred qualifications include 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent and experience programming in at least one software programming language.
