Base Salary
$144k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, maintainable platform features aligned with AWS best practices and long-term architecture plans.
- Architect and implement AI-powered solutions using AWS services for predictive support and automated workflow orchestration.
- Design integrations between multiple HR systems while maintaining data security and compliance.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear technical solutions and architectural decisions.
- Write production code, create design documents, participate in code reviews and operations reviews, resolve trouble tickets, and research technologies.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and design discussions and collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and senior engineers.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- At least 1 year of experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
