Base Salary
$124k - $189k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable reporting, dashboards, and RESTful services using Python, TypeScript, SQL, and related tools.
- Develop automated processes that integrate disparate systems and generate engineering-level reporting.
- Create analytical data models supporting standardized metrics.
- Maintain documentation, run books, data dictionaries, and guides.
- Collaborate with partners and domain specialists to define reporting, application, and integration requirements.
- Manage day-to-day workflow and communication with partners across the company.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional software development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or experience commensurate with the education requirements.
- Expertise in Python, TypeScript, Ruby, C#, or another general-purpose programming language.
- Demonstrated ownership of services or internal or external products.
- Backend experience building web servers and APIs with Python, Node.js, or server-side frameworks such as Next.js, Ruby on Rails, Laravel, Django, or Flask.
- Frontend experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, JSX, React, UX/UI design, data visualization, Tailwind, Material UI, Bootstrap, REST, and GraphQL.
- Proficiency writing sophisticated SQL queries and designing normalized database schemas.
- Strong written communication, presentation, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of version control, CI/CD workflows, test-driven development, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Preferred experience with data-quality monitoring and alerting, hierarchical data, JIRA, GitLab, Confluence, near-real-time or micro-batch feeds, Generative AI, ETL, Linux, Docker, infrastructure as code, AWS, S3, RDS, EC2, and Kubernetes.
