Base Salary
$200k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and intrusion prevention systems.
- Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments across technologies and core systems.
- Develop measures to detect and respond quickly to real-time threats and vulnerabilities.
- Create security-first guidelines and best practices for the organization.
- Partner with operations, developers, engineering, and other stakeholders to embed security into systems and workflows.
- Support the sales team with customer security questionnaires and technical security requirements.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience securing production infrastructure, systems, and networks.
- Experience with network security, firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention, vulnerability management, and threat detection and response.
- Ability to identify security risks and translate them into pragmatic technical solutions.
- Strong understanding of security best practices across modern cloud and infrastructure environments.
- Ability to collaborate with engineering and operations teams and embed security into existing workflows.
- Strong ownership, execution, curiosity, and ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
