Base Salary

$200k - $250k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and build firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and intrusion prevention systems.
  • Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments across technologies and core systems.
  • Develop measures to detect and respond quickly to real-time threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Create security-first guidelines and best practices for the organization.
  • Partner with operations, developers, engineering, and other stakeholders to embed security into systems and workflows.
  • Support the sales team with customer security questionnaires and technical security requirements.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience securing production infrastructure, systems, and networks.
  • Experience with network security, firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention, vulnerability management, and threat detection and response.
  • Ability to identify security risks and translate them into pragmatic technical solutions.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices across modern cloud and infrastructure environments.
  • Ability to collaborate with engineering and operations teams and embed security into existing workflows.
  • Strong ownership, execution, curiosity, and ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
