Responsibilities
- Turn ambiguous product ideas into scope, technical plans, tradeoffs, and success metrics.
- Build and improve mobile experiences across iOS and Android, contributing to backend services or APIs when needed.
- Partner with product, design, data, and engineering teams to shape solutions and challenge assumptions.
- Balance cross-platform consistency with platform-specific user experience decisions.
- Ship features with appropriate testing, rollout, monitoring, and rollback strategies.
- Use production signals, customer behavior, and metrics to improve experiences after launch.
- Support production systems, participate in on-call rotations, conduct code reviews, mentor teammates, and maintain engineering quality.
Requirements
- Significant experience building and shipping production mobile applications on iOS and/or Android.
- Comfort working across mobile clients, APIs, services, and data considerations.
- Experience supporting production systems, participating in on-call rotations, and using observability and operational signals.
- Track record of owning features end to end from problem definition through launch and post-launch iteration.
- Strong technical, product, and business judgment connecting engineering decisions to customer and company impact.
- Effective written and verbal collaboration with cross-functional partners, including in asynchronous environments.
- Depth in one mobile platform and working familiarity with the other.
- Comfort using AI-assisted development tools while remaining accountable for quality, correctness, and customer experience.
